The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006.

Curacao, N.V, February 2007 – The Grand Privé Group responds to UIGEA.

Recently, the United States Senate passed the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006. The aim of this Bill is to prevent US banks and US financial intermediaries from accepting and processing certain online gaming-related transactions.

The Bill does not make online casinos illegal, however it does have an impact on players from certain US states.

In order to comply with the stipulations of the bill, the Grand Privé board has decided that the group will no longer accept wagers from players in these states.

All players within accepted jurisdictions will be able to continue enjoying their gaming as per usual. The Grand Privé Group remains committed to its players and upholding the impeccable gaming standards you have become accustomed to. We look forward continuing to provide you with the very best that online gaming has to offer.
